Book Group

  • Whyte Books 9B Wilton Village, King Street Salisbury, England, SP2 0RS United Kingdom (map)

Book clubs should be fun, not homework.

How often have you ploughed through a book you hated for the sake of book group? Or worse, abandoned it and stayed quiet?

We do it differently. Each month we set a genre, theme or topic. You pick any book you like within it. Read what you want to read.

November: Romantasy.
Dragons, fae courts, forbidden love and slow-burn tension. Never tried it? Now is your chance.
Pick a firm favourite or take a risk on something outside your usual shelf.

Then we compare notes. Did your book make you laugh, cry or see the world differently? Did you fall for the writing? Or did you want to hurl it across the room? Everyone gets time to make the case for why their book belongs on the group’s must-read list… or doesn’t! A wider conversation follows over tea and biscuits.

You will also leave with a longer TBR pile than you arrived with.

Limited to a maximum of 12 places, so everyone has room to speak and be heard.

£5 per session, plus 10% off your next purchase at Whyte Books.
